Information on the processing of personal data of hotel guests
TATRA TRADING INTERNATIONAL s.r.o., Stará Lesná 178, 059 60 Stará Lesná, Company ID: 35 710 501, company registered in the Commercial Register of the District Court of Prešov, Section Sro, Insert No. 11587/P, (hereinafter referred to as the “hotel operator”) processes the personal data provided by you (as the personal data controller) to the extent strictly necessary to fulfill the purposes of processing personal data:
Personal data: name, surname, date of birth, place of residence, nationality, passport or ID card number, visa number, telephone number, email, for the purpose of providing accommodation services to which the data subject is a contracting party and for the fulfillment of obligations imposed by generally binding legal regulations in connection with the services provided (e.g. Act No. 582/2004 Coll. on local taxes and local fees for municipal waste and small construction waste, Act No. 53/1998 Coll. on reporting the residence of citizens of the Slovak Republic and the register of residents of the Slovak Republic as amended, Act No. 404/2011 Coll. on the Residence of Foreigners and on Amendments to Certain Acts as amended). The processing of personal data by the hotel operator is carried out for the period necessary to properly fulfill the above-mentioned purposes of processing. Providing personal data to the hotel operator is necessary to fulfill the above-mentioned purposes of processing. If they are not provided, it would not be possible to provide you with the services in question.
The hotel operator stores the personal data provided by you for the purpose of providing accommodation services and related services (according to the previous paragraph) in its information system even after the provision of individual accommodation services and related services, from where they can be restored by the hotel operator during your next visit to our facility, so you will not have to provide them to the hotel operator again during your next accommodation. This processing of personal data is carried out on the basis of the legitimate interest of the hotel operator, which consists in increasing your satisfaction and comfort when you return to accommodation, as the accommodation process will be faster and simpler. The hotel operator stores your personal data in the information system for a maximum of 5 years from your last accommodation with us.
Providing your personal data is a contractual requirement, it is not mandatory, but without providing it, it is not possible to conclude and fulfill the accommodation contract or provide another service, or to resolve another request of the data subject.
You are responsible for the completeness, truthfulness and accuracy of the personal data provided. In the event of a change to the personal data provided by you, you are obliged to notify them of the change immediately.

For the purpose of receiving the information leaflet (newsletter) of the establishment regarding our services and promotional offers to the contact addresses provided by the data subjects in electronic form.
The legal basis for processing the data provided by the data subject is your consent. We can use our legitimate interest as a legal basis for sending newsletters containing marketing information regarding our own related services only if it concerns the data of our current or previous customers. This means that if you have been a guest of our hotel in the recent past (1 year) we can send you promotional and preferential offers of our services that may interest you.
Consent lasts for a period of five years or until the data subject withdraws consent. You have the right to object to the processing and to unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time via the link in each email we send. You have the right to request early deletion of your personal data by phone or by sending an e-mail to marketing@horizontresort.sk.
Access to your data is granted to the operator and authorized persons of the hotel operator (such as employees) and a third party (processor) that provides solutions for sending emails to data subjects.

If you express interest in information or a specific service we provide by entering your personal data and information via our online contact form, the processing becomes our legitimate interest for the purpose of providing a response that contains additional or. information requested by you.
Your personal data will be stored for the period necessary to process your request or your questions. In order to be able to further answer any further questions or to continue communicating with each other, we will store your message and its content, including your email address, in our systems for six months from the date of the last conversation. You have the right to request earlier deletion of your personal data by phone or email to marketing@horizontresort.sk.
Your rights as a data subject are regulated by Act No. 18/2018 Coll. on the protection of personal data and in Articles 12 to 22 of Council Regulation (EU) 2016/679 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, repealing Directive 95/46/EC. You have the right to object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to the processing of your personal data, which is carried out on the basis of the legitimate interest of the hotel operator. The hotel operator may not further process your personal data unless there are compelling legitimate grounds for such processing that override your interests, rights and freedoms, or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
If you exercise any of the rights of the data subject under the legal regulations governing the protection of personal data with the hotel operator and it is not possible to verify the identity of the applicant from your request or if the hotel operator has legitimate doubts about your identity, the hotel operator reserves the right to ask you to provide additional information necessary to confirm your identity.
Your personal data may be provided to other entities to the extent necessary to fulfill the purpose for which they were obtained, in particular the IT service provider. The data may also be provided to public authorities in cases stipulated by special regulations. The data provided to third parties may be used exclusively for the purposes for which the personal data were obtained. The company will not provide personal data outside the territory of the European Union or the European Economic Area, nor will the operator make any decisions important for the data subject based on them in a fully automated manner.
Your e-mail address or your personal data will not be provided to any other company for any marketing purposes.
